The History
Trattoria Da Fagiolino
in Cutigliano was opened in the early 1950s by Alvaro Innocenti, son of Cecco, nicknamed "Fagiolino" because he was tall and slim like a young string bean, a nickname that inspired the restaurant's
name. In the past, the Innocenti family managed a general store in the same space where today there is an excellent cuisine, selling a variety of goods from nails and vegetables to mushrooms and hardware knick-knacks.

have been passed down through generations. In his role as restaurateur, Alvaro was assisted by his wife Pierina, a memorable cook from Bologna. Today, the trattoria is managed by the third generation of the same family, namely Luigi, son of Alvaro and Pierina, supported in his work by his wife Paola and their daughters Stella and Diletta.
